The Ideogram API offers powerful capabilities for developers and businesses looking to integrate Ideogram into their applications. Please read our Developer Docs to get started. Ideogram 3.0 now supports character consistency. API calls that include a character reference image are billed at different rates. See table below for details.
Custom Models
We also train custom models that adhere to a distinct visual identity. There is a monthly minimum usage requirement of 1 million images per month. If interested, please contact our sales team at [email protected].

These endpoints have pricing calculated as a flat fee for each Output Image returned. By default, the number of Output Images from each API call is one (1), but you might specify a greater number of Output Images.
We now provide a new endpoint that integrates transparent image generation and upscaling in one workflow. The pricing is based on generation quality and upscale factor.

These endpoints have pricing calculated as a flat fee for each Input submitted by the User.

Ideogram API Pricing:
The pricing for Ideogram API is provided above and is applicable to all Developers accessing and using the API. By using the API, Developer agree to the Fees and terms described herein, as well as the terms of the Developer API Agreement and Policy and any associated Order Form executed herewith. Ideogram reserves the right to update the pricing, including the addition of new models, functionalities, or other features, at any time. Updated pricing will be published on this page and will take effect upon publication unless otherwise specified. Any material changes to pricing will be communicated to existing Developers at least fourteen (14) days in advance via email or other agreed-upon methods, in accordance with the Developer API Agreement and Policy.
Additional Terms:
Continued use of the API constitutes acceptance of the pricing and any changes thereto as of the effective date of such changes.
In the event of a discrepancy between this Pricing Page and any executed Order Form, the terms of the Order Form will prevail.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or other mistakes even after issuing an invoice or receiving payment. All payment obligations are non-cancellable and fees paid are non-refundable.
